There are things that have always been known. One of it is that we are all One!
Many have expressed that throughout history. An example I came across recently is in the writings of the Persian poet Sa'adi, where he writes in 'Bostan':
All human beings are in truth akin;(http://www.farsinet.com/poetry/saadi1.html)
All in creation share one origin.
When fate allots a member pangs and pains,
No ease for others members then remains.
If, unperturbed, another's grief canst scan,
Thou are not worthy of the name of man.
